What Personal Information Is Collected Through This Site And How Is It Used?
Ensight Energy is the sole owner of the information collected on this Site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you with the exception of information that is provided to us through our analytical software. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information which may include, but is not limited to:
- Email address
- First name and last name
- Phone number
- Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City
Please do not submit any confidential, proprietary or sensitive personally identifiable information (e.g. Social Security Number; date of birth; driver’s license number; or credit card, bank account or other financial information) (collectively, “Sensitive Information”) through the contact form. If you submit any Sensitive Information, you do so at your own risk and we will not be liable to you or responsible for consequences of your submission.
We may collect information about our users in two ways: from the user and from our Web server logs. We use the information primarily to provide you with a personalized Internet experience that delivers the information, resources, and services that are most relevant and helpful to you.
Your access to and control over information: You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. Web server logs: When you visit our Site, we may track information about your visit and store that information in web server logs, which are records of the activities on our sites. The servers automatically capture and save the information electronically. Examples of the information we may collect include:

The information we collect in web server logs helps us administer the Site, analyze its usage, protect the Site and its content from inappropriate use and improve the user’s experience. This information may be obtained for Ensight Energy from a third party provider including, but not limited to, through the use of Google Analytics. Ensight Energy may use this information for marketing, commercial, or any other purpose as Ensight Energy sees fit.
How Is Personal Information Protected?
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Site, your information is protected both online and offline. As stated above, do not submit sensitive information via the contact or download forms.
We also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
We may provide access to your information to agents, website vendors and/or contractors who may use it on our behalf or in connection with their relationship with us; and/or as required by law, in a matter of public safety or policy, as needed in connection with the transfer of our business assets (for example, if we are acquired by another firm or if we are liquidated during bankruptcy proceedings), or if we believe in good faith that sharing the data is necessary to protect our rights or property.
We take appropriate security measures to help protect your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized persons will always be unable to defeat our security measures.
Data Ensight Energy Stores
All information posted to this Site may be stored in the Site’s database, even after “deletion”, and may be archived elsewhere.
The Site’s weblogs and other records are stored indefinitely. This may include any information you supply to Ensight Energy and your browsing history. However, Ensight Energy cannot guarantee access to these records by third parties for more than three business days after the original information was submitted.
Although Ensight Energy makes good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, Ensight Energy cannot guarantee complete security.
Ensight Energy may store information in an off-site location, which may or may not be located in the United States and may not be bound by the laws of the United States.
Archiving and display of the Site’s webpages by search engines and other sites
Search engines and other sites not affiliated with Ensight Energy archive or otherwise make available Ensight Energy’s individual webpages. Ensight Energy has no control over third party archiving and search engine sites and cannot guarantee the accuracy of any information stored by search engine sites.
Circumstances in which Ensight Energy may release information
Ensight Energy may disclose information about its users if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process.
Ensight Energy may disclose your information to third parties for use by Ensight Energy. This may include disclosure to email marketing providers to provide targeted marketing for our users. If you do not wish to receive email marketing from Ensight Energy, you will have the option to unsubscribe from the service.
Ensight Energy may disclose your information to other business entities, should Ensight Energy plan to merge with or be acquired by that business entity.
Ensight Energy does not do any geotracking at this time through the Ensight Energy system; however, certain third-party providers, such as Google Analytics, may request this information if your device allows it.
Ensight Energy welcomes international users to browse the Site. International Site Users consent to all the terms of service and this privacy agreement. International users waive any and all remedies that they may have based on the laws of their country. At this time, we only store information about customers and potential customers who are international users. By submitting information via our contact and subscription forms, you agree and acknowledge that you are contacting us to create a business relationship.
